Surf’s up!
We’ll continue to update this page as details unfold.
Thursday, 4/16
Welcome to Barbados!
We recommend flying in on Thursday if you can, but you’ll probably be on your own that day/night. There are many fun things to do in Barbados.
Consider: booking a catamaran cruise, taking a surf lesson, visiting the south coast and Carlisle Bay (our favorite beach), relaxing by the beach with a book and a fish cutter (sandwich).
Friday, 4/17
Annie’s Ragin’ Bajan Beach BBQ and hang on the West Coast
Sunset hang with drinks, bites, and music at The Gazebo on Paynes Bay Beach. Come and go as you please. We’ll hang on the beach all afternoon and start food, drinks and music at 4 p.m. Wear whatever makes you happy.
Saturday, 4/18
Wedding Ceremony and Festivities at Love Hill Signal Station beginning at 4 p.m. followed by a cocktail hour, seated dinner, and dancing.
Saturday’s ceremony and reception will be at Gun Hill Signal Station — we’re calling it Love Hill. 😉 This is an outdoor venue (not on the beach), it’s a high point overlooking the island. There is no sand, there are some grassy areas, but with easily walkable pathways and a dance floor. For attire, we’re suggesting Caribbean chic or tropical cocktail attire — dress it up with something fun and festive. Breathable fabrics and comfortable shoes are recommended.
We will be providing shuttle buses to bring guests to and from the west coast to the wedding venue at 3 p.m. We will designate centrally located pick-up points (at Beach View and Colony Club Hotel). At the end of the evening, we will have an early shuttle bus and a later shuttle bringing guests back to the west coast. Uber and PickUP Barbados are also available.
Sunday, 4/19
Safe travels home, or enjoy your vacay!
